Peaky Blinders: Exclusive New Look At Adrien Brody’s New Gang.
Courtesy: Empire Magazine
The new issue of Empire goes on sale today, and among the many juicy exclusives it boasts, there’s an exclusive new look at Peaky Blinders, the BBC’s hit period crime drama which is returning for another series. As if that wasn’t enough, we also have an online-only exclusive to offer you – see below.
The image gives us a better look of Adrien Brody’s gang of Italian-Americans, a new addition to the Birmingham based organised criminals led by Cillian Murphy’s Tommy Shelby. And as the image shows, they’re fond of the occasional use of a Tommy gun.
Joining them in the cast will be Aidan Gillen, Helen McCrory, Joe Cole, Aimee-Ffion Edwards and Kate Phillips, with Tom Hardy back to play Alfie Solomons.
Writer/creator Steve Knight is back on scripting duties. Peaky Blinders season four (or series four, as we say here in Blighty) returns to BBC Two very soon.
Peaky Blinders preview in the new Empire Magazine: Adrien Brody is the new italian-american antagonist “Luca Changretta”
“These days I have the luxury of being patient, and I only work on things that inspire me. Peaky Blinders was absolutely one of those”
“I wouldn’t lean too hard on the Mafia angle. I just a very successful businessman who happens to share a lot of interesting parallels of aspiration and vision with Cillian’s character. That was very intriguing to me”.
Maybe in other circumstances they’d be good friends” – Adrien Brody.

Adrien Brody joins ‘Peaky Blinders’ Season 4.
EXCLUSIVE: Oscar winner Adrien Brody will be joining the cast of “Peaky Blinders” Season 4.
The filming started this week.
It’s unclear what character he’ll play, as it’s currently being kept under wraps, but creator Steven Knight says
“He genuinely was the actor in my head when I wrote the part. I’m sure he will be a formidable presence in the world of the Peaky Blinders.”
Of Brody’s casting, BBC Drama Controller Piers Wenger said he is
“a world class actor famous for producing mesmerizing performances. I cannot wait to see him in action alongside the rest of Peaky Blinders‘ superb cast bringing Steven Knight’s extraordinary writing to life on BBC Two.”
First look:
Season four will pick up when “Tommy Shelby (played by Cillian Murphy) receives a mysterious letter on Christmas Eve and realizes the Peaky Blinders are in danger of annihilation. As the enemy closes in, he flees his country house and returns to the streets of Small Heath, Birmingham where a desperate fight for survival begins,”
The role has been kept secret, so it is still unclear what role Brody will play in the epic gangster saga.
Adrien is the star of blockbusters films Midnight in Paris, The Grand Budapest Hotel and hit TV miniseries Houdini so his intense acting skills are destined to fit well in to Peaky Blinders.
Peaky Blinders has began filming series four in Liverpool earlier this week and fans of the BBC drama will be wondering when they can see it on screen.
Season four of Peaky Blinders is set to premiere later this year or 2018.

LEE TAMAHORI’S EMPEROR is an action epic about a young girl who seeks revenge on the holy Roman Emperor Charles V for the death of her father by infiltrating his royal court. It happens in a world of wealth, debauchery, violent retaliations, sex, manipulation and treason in which Charles V is trying to hold together a fragmented empire… it’s the 16th century revisited!
Charles V was a Duke of Burgundy and Holy Roman Emperor who ruled a massive Empire in which the sun never set including the Spanish Empire, Holy Roman Empire, Habsburg Netherlands and extensive territories in western, central, and southern Europe, and the Spanish colonies in the Americas and Asia where he sanctioned the conquest by Castillian conquistadors of the Aztec and Inca empires. Although the four decades of his rule were marked by many wars (mostly against France, German princes and the Ottoman Sultan) in the end he abdicated in order to live and then die in a monastery instead on a battle field.
